Haircuts and that

I took my girls for new haircuts this week.  Megan had a major knot in her long hair that just would not come out no matter how much de-tangler and conditioner we used.  She loves her new style and i think it will be easier for her.

Rainy Day In Edmonton

Another rainy day here 3rd in a row. Both Megan and Mac have missed ball. Megan has an indoor practice tonight and Mac is supposed to have an outdoor one but I can tell already that it will be cancelled. Which just means that the weekend and next week will be busier. Jamie hasn’t been able to work on the RV pad at all. too wet to be in the mud.

Melissa has been painting up a storm she got a Dora watercolour set from Michaels on Monday and has been painting ever since.

Not too bad imo. I love how she isn’t scared to go with different colours…

Myself I’ve been getting some things done around the house and spending a bit of time working on some of my WIPS.

I finished a few yesterday.

This was a KAL that I had been working on had almost finished but never got around to weaving the ends in. I don’t block my dishcloths as I use them.

This is this Months KAL I’m not happy with my choice of colour for it so I’m doing it again in a solid colour maybe that way your will be able to see the pattern better.

Sunny day

Yesterday was sunny. Melissa and i took a quick trip tot he park. For once there wasn’t many kids there but she did run off some energy.

I managed to get day 4 done on my KAL

Day 2 of RV Pad work

Today has been more like summer and not at all like spring, 27C in the backyard. Jamie and Ron have gotten the old gate and part of the fence apart. We discovered that part of the ground is still frozen, go figure so we are burning up some wood to make coals to see if we can help the ground to unthaw…..

Melissa is enjoying her sandbox, we got her 2 bags of sand, later in the week we will go for a third bag but she is happy for now.
